AALC President and CEO of 2M Language Services, Tea Dietterich, winner at Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards

Tea DietterichTea Dietterich, CEO of 2M Language Services won in the category Business person of the year at the Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Awards for Business.

This award recognises a multicultural Brisbane business leader who successfully exports their products and services from Brisbane, throughout Australia, and across Asia Pacific or internationally. The award celebrates the recipient’s contribution to the Brisbane economy and recognises them as a local champion of enterprise with a global outlook for their business. 2M Language Services has been exporting for over a decade but has stepped up export operations in the last 4 years with a dedicated European Office in Paris. Working with US multinationals Microsoft, Dupont and Gillett as well as with European corporations and government organisations, 2M Language Services has proven to be a niche market leader in provision of translation, localization and VoiceOver/Subtitling services into 180+ languages. Among 2M’s latest clients are also the Museum of Oceanography in Monte Carlo, Monaco, and the Prince Albert Institute of Oceanography. 

The winner was announced on Friday 6th November at the GALA dinner.  We are pleased this shines a light onto the growing localization market and the importance of our industry globally.
